Kawartha Ethanol Inc. is an Ontario company currently operating a corn ethanol production facility in Havelock, Ontario, Canada with a nameplate capacity to produce 80 million litres of fuel-grade ethanol per year.
The investors in the project are a group of farm operators and other business people from the local community. The farm community will benefit from the high quality feed grains which is a co-product of the ethanol production process and will be readily available for the livestock market.
Kawartha Ethanol has contracted MacEwen Petroleum, of Maxville, Ontario to purchase 100% of the Ethanol produced. If you are interested in supplying grain or purchasing distillers grains please see our products page.
